“among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others” Ephesians 2:3 NKJV.
The world says that we should go after the things we desire, based on how we feel which naturally makes us very rebellious and sons of disobedience. We become these people because we are influenced by spirits of this world, whether you acknowledge them or not, our rebellious disobedient nature is constantly feed through the temptations we face everyday. This ultimately leads us down a path where we shall face the wrath of God, having lived of the flesh and not the spirit, satisfying our own selfish needs and desires instead of chasing after righteousness. That is how it was from the very beginning, flesh gained power over us when the first man disobeyed God and ate of the fruit that was not supposed to be eaten. We have a choice, daily to be made, flesh or spirit?
