Day 82: Guilty Of All

If you really fulfill the royal law according to the Scripture, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself,” you do well; but if you show partiality, you commit sin, and are convicted by the law as transgressors. For whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all. For He who said, “Do not commit adultery,” also said, “Do not murder.” Now if you do not commit adultery, but you do murder, you have become a transgressor of the law. So speak and so do as those who will be judged by the law of liberty. For judgment is without mercy to the one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment” ‭‭James 2:8-13‬ ‭NKJV‬‬.

The truth of the matter is that ass people we like to compare ourselves to others, looking at each other through the eyes of man instead of aligning our thinking to that of God. Because the laws man made classifies sins according to severity, ie stealing is better than murder, but in actual both those display no love to another and without love we are nothing. God’s law cannot be held on the same level as mans law because they were never meant to be on the same level. God transcends anything that is created by man. Just because you sin differently from another, does not make you any better because in His eyes, you both went against His word and the punishment will be the same.

Speak to God about your life.
