““If you have understanding, hear this; listen to the sound of my words: Should one who hates justice govern? Will you condemn Him who is most just? Is it fitting to say to a king, ‘You are worthless,’ and to nobles, ‘You are wicked’? Yet He is not partial to princes, nor does He regard the rich more than the poor; For they are all the work of His hands” Job 34:16-19 NKJV.
Contrary to popular belief, God has no favourites. It’s part of the deception to get masses to believe that you must look a certain way or have certain possessions to know for sure that God loves you. This easily leads people to believe the notion and fall victim to those people who exploit naive “christians”. Everybody wants the quick and easy blessing. Nobody, however, wants to take the time to actually know God, to build a relationship with Him, where they read and understand the word for themselves through the help of the Holy Spirit. Ultimately we are all the works of His hands, all with a different path to walk and purpose to serve. Though it may seem others are elevated above others, we have all been given what we can carry. At the end of the day, what is important is knowing and leaning on the fact that God loves us all without showing any partiality or favouritism to group of people. In His eyes we are all precious and favoured.
Father, thank You for Your love. Help me to always remember that Your love is not in the materialistic things of this world, but it is in me, never to be removed from me. Amen
