Day 45: Repentance For All

But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance” 2 Peter 3:8-9 NKJV.

The ignorance of man, that has so deeply deceived us is to think that we can be equals of God, that His time runs at our time. We think that just because we asked God for something at a specific that it will come at that time. God owes us nothing nor is He limited or influenced by our time. His patience and compassion for all surpasses us all beyond eternity. One thing we ought to bare in mind is that He is true to His word and promises and they will come to pass when it reaches His time. Through His love and patience, He is affording all the opportunity to repent and seek His forgiveness but at the same time, it is up to us to avail ourselves for His service that His message may be shared throughout. If we just sit back and do nothing, the suffering will continue because all things must come to pass before His eternal judgement can be passed over all the inhabitants of the world. But before that day arrives, His heart is to give everyone the same opportunity to repent, question is, do you have that same desire for all?

Prayer:

Father, I surrender myself to Your will and power and that You may use me to serve Your purpose. Break my heart and give me a heart like Yours that I may live out Your word in this world. Amen
